The Provider Relations Manager is responsible for developing close working relationships with independent and non-hospital based physicians and office staff. The Provider Relations Manager will focus their efforts on facility-specific service lines that are aligned with market strategy. The Provider Relations Manager will act as a liaison between physicians and the facility, and will manage physician sales within a specified territory. The Provider Relations Manager will expand access to SCL Healthâ??s services through physician-specific relationship building, reducing barriers to access, and educating the physician community about the service, expertise and excellent available throughout the SCL Health system. The Provider Relations Manager is high energy, passionate, well organized and detail oriented, and serves as a strategic ambassador of the SCL Health system. The Provider Relations Manager reports to the Senior Director of Network Loyalty with dual reporting to care site executives.
The Provider Relations Manager will travel locally during day-to-day responsibilities within the northern Denver metro area.
Education: Bachelorâ??s degree required. Masterâ??s degree preferred
Experience: 3+ yearâ??s territory management field sales experience, specifically in the medical industry.
Sales experience in a multi-site healthcare organization strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of emerging healthcare trends to be able to inform and execute growth strategy
- Intellectual inquisitiveness with a desire to create practical/innovative solutions
- Ability to cultivate new opportunities by initiating a plan to increase operating margin
- Ability to research, understand and explain healthcare services' volume, utilization, market data, and physician referral patterns
Highly prefer hospital provider relations experience.
