Clinical Lab Scientist III – Histology

The Clinical Lab Scientist III will perform a variety of routine and esoteric tests in a growing Lean Histology laboratory. We are seeking candidates who are energetic and team-oriented with a strong focus on quality and patient safety. Preferred candidates will have experience in routine Histology, Immunohistochemistry, Special Stains, and Immunofluorescence techniques. Qualified candidates will also have the opportunity to gross defined scope of specimens. Candidates must display initiative and have the ability to organize their time and prioritize tasks. The ability to produce precise and accurate results in a fast paced and growing laboratory is required.
Candidates must have an associate's degree with MLT (ASCP), HT (ASCP), or the equivalent in education and clinical laboratory experience required with four years of laboratory experience (as a CLS I) or a Bachelor's degree with MT (ASCP), HTL (ASCP), or the equivalent in education and clinical laboratory experience required with two years of laboratory experience (as a CLS II). Candidates not qualifying at the Clinical Lab Scientist III level may be considered for Clinical Lab Scientist II (Bachelor's degree with MT (ASCP) or equivalent education and experience) or for Clinical Lab Scientist I (Associate's degree with MT (ASCP) or equivalent education and experience).
