Erie Family Health Center is looking for an energetic, friendly, compassionate, team-oriented, responsible, innovative, fun individual like you to join our Patient Access Center! The Patient Access Representative is the first point of contact for our patients, who ensure they receive high-quality care.
Provides appropriate routing of all incoming telephone calls for the health center
Answers all telephone inquiries regarding the daily appointment schedule and provider/clinic staff availability
Look up and update general patient information in Erie's computer system
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
One year related medical or customer service experience, preferred
Experience as a medical office assistant or any career related to the medical field, preferred
Switchboard operator or high incoming call experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills and experience required
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English, required
Erie is a growing organization that has availability for both Full Time – 40 hours/week and FT Temp Patient Access Representatives. These hours will be worked within Erie’s Hours of Operations Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm and Saturday’s: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
