Advertised Summary Job Description: ColumbiaDoctors is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the northeast and is affiliated with world renowned Columbia University Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. ColumbiaDoctors is currently looking for a Senior Credentialing Coordinator for Columbia Affiliated Physicians (CAP) Independent Practice Association (IPA) located in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
The Senior Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for all senior level enrollment and credentialing functions that are required for provider enrollment and maintenance with the CAP IPA network and respective delegated and non-delegated managed care plans. All tasks must be completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner to ensure no adverse impact to provider revenue and member satisfaction. Expertise in customer service is a must as developing and maintaining quality relationships with our Managed Care Plan Representatives, CAP IPA physicians and their office staff and internal staff counterparts is required. On a regular basis must conduct comprehensive roster reconciliations and quality assurance activities to maintain the data integrity of CAP IPA and Plan databases. The Senior Enrollment Coordinator must be a team player and be able to multitask between the multiple daily projects.
General Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: Specialized knowledge of Credentialing/Enrollment. One to three years of experience in the use of relational databases and their supporting programs in Microsoft software. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access or comparable word processing and spreadsheet software. Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
Customer service orientation a must. Time management and multi-tasking skills required. Communication skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize and detailed oriented.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.
