Schedule: Monday through Saturday, hours vary from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 20 hrs. per week

1) Provides customer service responsibilities.
2) Provides various duties in support and assistance of department [or functional area] operations. Follows prescribed methods and procedures.

4) Performs other related duties as required.
Usual Physical Demands: The incumbent of this position typically exhibits the physical demands identified in the Functional Job Analysis on file in the College's Human Resources Department and which is periodically reviewed and updated. Physical demands listed in the Functional Job Analysis are not job qualification standards, but are used to help the College assess and determine reasonable accommodations for otherwise qualified individuals covered by the American's with Disabilities Act.
Employee regularly sits or stands for extended periods of time. Employee converses verbally with others in person or by telephone. Vision demands include relatively detailed vision. Employee frequently interacts with Buyers, other employees of the Auxiliary Services Department, the college, and vendors. Employee occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, and lifts up to 75 pounds.
Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: customer service, entry-level practices and procedures within assigned area. Skill in: operation of job-related equipment and other equipment. Ability to: follow oral and basic written instructions; provide basic assistance and support to department or functional area; maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff and other job contacts; problem solve routine matters on behalf of customers.
High School Diploma or GED with at least six months to one year experience in a general support role of a related functional area. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
Additional Information: Certifications relevant to job assignment may be required and gained following employment (e.g. forklift certification).
