The Department of Neurology seeks an EPILEPTOLOGIST with fellowship training to join the Epilepsy Center, Department of Neurology, at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, with appointment as a non-tenure eligible full time ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR. Must be BC/BE in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy.
Primary responsibilities include routine, ambulatory and continuous video-EEG interpretation, participation in epilepsy surgery evaluations, evaluation and management of epilepsy patients, and teaching of students, residents and fellows. The individual would join a group of 7 attending epileptologists and 3 epilepsy/EEG fellows annually. The program includes an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for noninvasive and invasive surgical and diagnostic evaluations, a busy critical care continuous EEG monitoring service. Opportunities are available to join or develop clinical and basic science research related to epilepsy and to participate in administrative or educational leadership and in program development.
