Our anesthesia group works out of several locations. One of those locations is Heartland Regional Medical Center, a 100 bed facility in the heart of Southern Illinois. Surgical volume at the hospital has increased substantially within the past year.
• The anesthesia staff currently includes eleven CRNAs and four MDs. • A surgical volume of 7,000 major surgical procedures and 1,000 deliveries annually. • The provider on call will typically get the next day off. • A collegial environment with outstanding surgeons and staff. • A variety in settings and surgical disciplines. • Our compensation is above the 75th percentile according to salary surveys. • Our practitioners enjoy a comprehensive benefit plan. • We enjoy 40 PTO days annually.
We can offer flexibility in our practice situation from full time or part time. We have several other locations in need and will be able to provide full details upon your inquiry.
The City of Marion is conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate 57 and State Route 13 in southern Illinois. With Interstates I-64 and I-24 only minutes away, Marion offers access to several metropolitan areas such as St. Louis, Indianapolis and Nashville without the associated high costs of housing and living expenses.
Recreational and outdoor activities are close by and the city is considered the gateway to the Shawnee National Forest. Nearby Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge encompasses 44,000 acres and boasts the largest man-made lake in Illinois.
Marion has a strong public educational system. The school district educates approximately 3,900 students. The city also is home for the Regional School for the Hearing Impaired. Southern Illinois University and John A. Logan Community College are only minutes away.
