The Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) has an immediate opening for a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Genetic Counselor. The position will be located in the Greenville office of GGC.
The Clinical Genetic Counselor position will primarily involve genetic education, assessment of risks and psychosocial status, immediate and ongoing support for families, discussion of testing options and coordination, interpretation of laboratory results and communication of findings. The counselor will participate in general pediatric genetic clinics, as well as evaluation of some adults. This is an opportunity to join our team of three clinical geneticists and three clinical genetic counselors as well as interact with other GGC clinicians and laboratory geneticists.

A Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling is required, and applicants must be Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Genetic Counseling. Entry level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
