The Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University Physician Group is seeking an outstanding fellowship trained cornea and external disease specialist to join the full-time faculty.
-Candidates must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology
-Candidate will participate in teaching activities of department and supervise house staff (21 residents) and will hold a Wayne State University faculty appointment (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor)
-Active clinical research department with national and local clinical trials underway
-Immediate clinical/surgical volume (average 40+ patients per day)
As a Kresge Eye Institute faculty member, you will have access to our complete diagnostic testing department which includes Heidelberg Spectralis and Cirrus OCT, Optos, mfERG and a full staff of awarding winning photographers. The ideal candidate will possess an interest in developing clinical and/or basic research.
