The mission of the Site Resources Division is to enhance the site aesthetic so as to improve staff recruitment and retention, safety, and customer satisfaction, and to support the overall Laboratory mission. To that end, we are dedicated to providing services to the Laboratory at the highest standard per science dollar.
Responsible for updating, modifying, and maintaining a computerized preventive maintenance program. Performs facility inspections, creates and tracks work orders, and prepares facility inspection reports. Conducts weekly scheduling meetings to develop and input into the CMMS, reviews the status of scheduled work orders, and discusses new, incoming work orders. Attends Occupancy Readiness Reviews, identifies equipment for inventory, and prepares facility deficiency reports. Supports special projects and assignments as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires five (5) years broad experience in Facilities and Maintenance operations.
Five years' experience in the use of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Excellent Microsoft Office skills; especially Excel.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Familiar with Work Load calculations for the OS-1 Custodial Teams.
Previous experience working in a DOE facility
Experience with the use of VFA, a Facility Inspection Program used by DOE Facilities

Experience with the use of AutoCAD Software (Version 16 or greater).
Experience with IBM-Maximo, Version 7.5 (CMMS).
Environmental, Safety & Health Information:
Requires ability to work in a radiation facility
Requires the ability to work outside or inside.
Requires the ability to routinely lift over 30 lbs.
Requires the ability to drive a government vehicle and have a valid NY Driver's License.
Requires the ability to climb ladders and access facility roofs
Requires pre-appointment physical
