This role will be with the Credit Origination Infrastructure team which is responsible for change management, business requirements as well as BAU requirements of the risk infrastructure systems, namely Credit Origination system 'CreditMate' and Collateral Management System. Existing business driven requirements as well as changes in the regulatory landscape necessitate various projects/business requirements which require continuous engagement with business/ITO/Credit stakeholders. The incumbent will work on analysis and documentation of business requirements to address these changes as well as suggesting possible solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Core elements of the role include
Document business requirements in the form of business requirements documents for business sign off
Review and attest functional specifications for business sign-off and IT development team acceptance/sign off
Close liaison with Risk Technology team during functional development and functional testing phases
Carry out UAT / regression testing and obtain business sign off
Provide end user training/education where necessary
Stakeholder communication during project lifecycle
Represent Risk Origination Systems team in cross business working groups
Working with teams onshore and offshore
Provide required inputs to project manager for preparation of estimation of cost and timeline for requirements gathering and testing
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Degree or higher in finance, commerce, engineering, science or other technology related fields
Good experience with preferably at least some years in a credit approval &/or credit analysis role or prior experience working in banking or financial institution
Strong business analysis and documentation skills with at least some years' experience of doing business analysis
Prior experience of working on a large multi-year, multi-country project will be an advantage
Understanding of credit origination and limit approval processes/systems
Knowledge of credit risk and understanding of the various approaches to credit risk exposure methodology across different asset classes and categories of risk is an advantage
Awareness of pre-trade and post-trade policy and process requirements for WB credit risk
Self-starter with a structured approach to work
Good interpersonal skills, especially in a multi-cultural environment
Good communications skills (written & spoken)
Proficient PC skills
Effective time-management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy
