|As an eLearning Helpdesk / Course Developer Associate, you will provide students and faculty with technical support and assistance with GGU's eLearning technologies. You will also support the Instructional Design team with course development projects and tasks. |
This position is temporary through June 30, 2017.
| Essential Functions: |
|Demonstrate reliable, friendly service while providing effective resolutions to student, faculty, and staff inquiries regarding the use of the various eLearning applications and technology tools; assist students and faculty with troubleshooting technical issues and application functionality; identify systemic technical issues and work collaboratively with team members to arrive at a resolution; submit tickets to Learning Management System (LMS) hosting provider and follow-up on progress; send email communications and announcements to faculty and students; make content edits to the eLearning pages on the GGU website. |
Provide quality assurance support during LMS upgrade; assist instructional design team with online course development tasks; research and write technical documentation; coordinate and maintain training events schedule; process and upload instructional media files in various formats; other projects as assigned.

|Essential Qualifications: |
Technical skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Windows, Learning Management Systems (Moodle preferred), working knowledge of various media formats and learning technologies
Professional skills: Customer service experience
Able to: Participate in a team-oriented environment; effectively manage time and multiple tasks; communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; troubleshoot and analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement recommendations
Helpful to know: HTML, MS Access, Adobe Captivate or other eLearning authoring tools, digital video and audio, technical writing and training
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. Experience in a customer-oriented environment, especially with computers and technology, is preferred. Experience in the higher-education environment a plus.
