We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Program team at 4-H Camp Bristol Hills, located in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York.
Program Specialists will take a leadership role in one of our specialized program areas including our Adventure Program (ropes course), Cooking, Crafts, Critter Care, and Shooting Sports programs.
In these roles, the successful candidates will coordinate and direct the development and implementation of a specific 4-H camp program (e.g. Adventure, Crafts, Critter Care, Archery, Rifle, etc.). Supervise Camp Counselors and Assistant Counselors to effect quality programming in subject area. Camping experience required. Ability to supervise and organize staff members. Interest, knowledge, and skills in the specific field and the ability to teach and enthuse others. Specialists also serve as a Senior Camp Counselor, providing supervision within a cabin, as well as assisting with program and activities for all of camp.
Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Must be at least 18 years old by July 1 to comply with NYS Department of Health regulations. First Aid and CPR certifications desirable. Leadership and youth camping experience a plus. College degree preferred.
