Provide personal and financial aid application counseling to students and families; make decisions in awarding process; and award student assistance for State, Federal, and Institutional financial aid programs.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Education: Bachelor's degree required in appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Experience: Two-Three years experience in a College Financial Aid environment or equivalent preferred with relevant federal and state regulation knowledge.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: None
Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team oriented environment. Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Experience with PowerFaids a plus. Aptitude to learn computer software. Should be able to type 45 words per minute.
