Coordinate online leasing and contract administration processes to maximize housing occupancy at The University of Texas at Arlington. Responsible to perform database management functions to support housing operations. Supervise student staff and clearly communicate policies and information to achieve departmental objectives. Provide back-up support and assistance for the Assistant Director, Housing Operations. Other duties as assigned by Executive Director, Auxiliary Services or Assistant Director, Housing Operations.
Working in general office conditions with occasional site visits to properties. Occasional weekends in relation to resident check-in and resident recruitment events.
Bachelor’s Degree. 2 years professional experience working in business management, finance, real estate, contract negotiation, rental housing, hospitality, information technology, or related environment. Successful completion of Excel 2010 proficiency test. Experience with Excel 2010 (pivot tables, conditional formatting, graphing, Vlookup, nested formulas, linking spreadsheets, and other ribbon bar functions). Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining superior results in each area. Excellent administrative, customer service and communication skills.
Master’s Degree. Proficient in the use of StarRez or similar comprehensive student housing management software system. Knowledge of one or more relational database managers (Access, ORACLE, SAP, SQL Server). Experience in developing advanced Excel 2010 spreadsheets (pivot tables, conditional formatting, graphing, Vlookup, nested formulas, macros). Ability to edit SQL reports a plus.
