Presidio Graduate School (“PGS”), among the world’s first and leading sustainability graduate institutions, is seeking an Admissions Counselor.

The admissions counselor, to be situated at the Seattle location of Presidio Graduate School (PGS), is responsible for representing Presidio to multiple constituencies, including prospective students, associations, and corporate contacts. The counselor independently develops and implements recruiting initiatives to meet personal and group prospect/lead, application and enrollment goals. The counselor must be effective at independently planning recruitment strategies including participation at graduate and other types of fairs, creating and conducting area receptions, in-person and virtual ‘information sessions’, and individual meetings.
Additionally, this position is a front-line service provider with primary responsibility for prospect/lead generation, student admission counseling, recruitment travel, and management of the assigned geographic or programmatic areas. The admissions counselor supports the Director of Admissions in meeting school new student enrollment goals for all programs.
The position requires a significant level of independent judgment and autonomy in regards to work planning; local representation of the graduate school to potential students, and other sources of individual or groups of students, as well as expert counseling of potential students. The position also requires that the individual work well as part of team with other school stakeholders including the director of admissions, other admissions counselors, staff, faculty, and current and alumni students in meeting enrollment goals.
Secondary responsibilities include data collection and reporting, and other duties as assigned. The admissions counselor reports to the Interim Dean of Admissions.
The admissions counselor will operate from the Seattle location of the Presidio Graduate School.
