Point 2 Point Global Security, Inc., a 100% woman owned business, is seeking a Security Operations Manager for our Dallas-Ft Worth clients. This person must have a proven track record of reducing overtime while creating and managing employee schedules to ensure the necessary staffing levels at all times.
Position Summary: The Security Operations Manager is responsible for identifying and meeting the needs of all clients in the designated region through operational support and shared services to ensure delivery of operationally excellent guard services.
Serve as the key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high quality security service at the assigned Account
Effective and timely payroll submission and verification
Effectively manage the contract Security Team at the site location, ensuring that all Client and Contract goals and key performance areas are met
Ability to reduce overtime while creating and managing employee schedules to ensure the necessary staffing levels at all times
Interacts with Client Management in professional manner; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner
Establishes working relationships with Site Managements Team, Facilities, EH&S, HR, Legal and IT
Interfaces with Security Vendors when necessary; coordinating installations, service and maintenance as needed
Create, implement and track Security Officer Training
Prepare and coordinate staffing schedules for the site; ensure that scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements
Update and maintain site Standard Operating Procedures
Prepare and present necessary information, training, reports, reviews and audit results at scheduled meetings or as requested by Client Security Management
Participates in Client initiatives and programs, including core teams, conference calls, EHS/Facilities Project Meetings or other site activities
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 - 5 Years Security Experience with Bachelor’s Degree, 5-7 Years without
3 Years Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred
5 Years in Supervisory/Management Role
Guard contract experience preferred
Must pass thorough background check to include a clean driving record
Skills and Specifications:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of MS applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook & Project)
Experience with scheduling software (Valiant/WinTeam), preferred
Experience in Security systems: CCTV, Automated Incident Reporting Software, Access Control, etc.
Organizations skills: Must be task orientated with the ability to organize work flow and handle multiple tasks concurrently
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.
Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently.
Possess both written and verbal communication skills
Experience leading a team
Ability to work under stressful conditions
Experience conducting oral presentations and group meetings
Ability to direct, motivate, train, coach and discipline staff in a positive manner
