The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Missouri is seeking exceptional candidates for a faculty anesthesiologist position. This position provides the opportunity to join a group of energetic, dynamic, and culturally diverse faculty and staff at a premier academic medical center with strong growth in surgical volumes. Candidates will be considered for a tenure or non-tenure track faculty appointment. Rank will be dependent on academic background and clinical experience. Seeking those with experience in general adult, cardiovascular, pediatrics, orthopaedics, trauma, and obstetrics anesthesia. Fellowship training is preferred, but not required. Background in academic medicine is preferred, but not required. Anesthesiologists will work closely with nurse anesthetists, resident physicians, and medical students providing medical direction along with classroom and clinical instruction. Experience in coordination of research studies and clinical trials highly regarded.
