The University of Washington Tacoma (UW Tacoma) invites applications for multiple social work part-time lecturer positions in the Social Work and Criminal Justice Program beginning Sept. 16, 2017. Appointments are quarterly and % FTE varies. Course areas include but are not limited to those in human behavior in the social environment, community and organizational practice, social welfare history, and cultural diversity.
The program places a strong emphasis on equity and inclusion of all under-represented populations in both its student and faculty recruitment efforts.

An MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited social work program and at least two years of post-MSW degree experience in a social service setting.
Demonstrated competence in teaching.
Teaching experience at the college/university level is preferred.
Applications materials include: 1) a brief letter delineating interest and qualifications, with specific content related to how you would address social justice, equity, and inclusion of under-represented populations in your teaching; 2) evidence of teaching effectiveness in the classroom or alternative teaching/training settings; 3) curriculum vitae; and 4) three reference letters.
