About the College/Department: The College of Fine and Performing Arts is comprised of the departments of Theatre and Dance, Music, Art, and Design. The Theatre and Dance Department includes eleven faculty, seven instructors, and a staff including a Technical Director, Costume Shop Manager, and Scene Shop Foreman/Master Electrician. The program offers a balance of academic courses and production experiences. During the past academic year, the department mounted seven productions in its three venues (5 theatre, 2 dance). As evidence of our devotion to issues of diversity and inclusivity, the Department of Theatre and Dance recently commissioned and premiered Jeff Augustine’s Corktown and dedicates one production slot to issues of diversity per season.
