Manage the build, entry, maintenance and data integrity of Student Information System (SIS) and other graduate curriculum, catalog and degree data systems at Oakland University. Monitor the approved graduate curriculum requirements and system change management to ensure content compliance. This position also provides data integrity and quality assurance in support of graduate student progression and retention analysis reporting.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with curriculum processes and/or degree audit system. Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably working in higher education. Two years of experience working directly with a Student Information System or any large Enterprise Resource System, including data analysis, data queries using SQL in relational data bases, data quality maintenance, and reporting, using advanced features of tools such as Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with customer/constituent relationship management, recruiting, admissions and related desktop or client-server applications. Excellent report-writing skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Experience maintaining online computer systems. Knowledge of curriculum and graduate academic program structures in a university setting. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports. Ability to recognize, identify, reasearch and interpret various levels of problems related to student service. Ability to utilize and understand logic and relationships existing with Degree Works. Advanced knowledge of and experience with Banner Experience in higher education.
