Job Description Summary:
The Oakland University School of Nursing is seeking applications for exceptional nurse researchers and educators for one tenure track position at the rank of Associate Professor to begin August 15, 2017. Successful candidates will have an active research program with a strong publication record, evidence of quality teaching, and a track record of engaged service. Applicants will be expected to engage in scholarly activities, teach undergraduate and graduate courses and demonstrate a commitment to service.
The School of Nursing offers high quality and accessible education through CCNE accredited programs, including basic BSN, RN-BSN, BSN second degree; MSN in nurse anesthesia, family nurse practitioner, adult-gerontology nurse practitioner and a post master's DNP.
Oakland University is a Carnegie research designated university located in Southeast Michigan and enrolls just over 20, 000 students. It offers 110 undergraduate programs, 70 graduate and certificate programs, and division 1 athletics. PhD or equivalent research degree in Nursing.
Credentials commensurate with the rank of Associate Professor.
Current Michigan registered nurse license or be eligible for a Michigan RN license.
