DAYTIME & OVERNIGHT EMERGENCY VETERINARIANS
Pet emergencies are stressful for the pet, their family and often times, the veterinary staff. We are in search of a self-motivated professional who excels in multi-tasking and strives for excellence in patient care, client experience and comprehensive communication. We need daytime and overnight emergency veterinarians who can manage this situation (and many others) with the highest level of care and communication.
BE A PART OF THE GROWTH!
Exciting changes are happening at Mission Veterinary Specialists and the emergency practice located in our building! As of December 1, 2016, the two groups who previously operated as separate businesses, merged to become one. Our emergency veterinarians have the opportunity to grow professionally with the hospital and build and sustain strong relationships with referring colleagues, clients, and support staff.
A STRONG FOUNDATION
Our multidisciplinary hospital was created in 2012 by partners of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston and local partners Tige Witsberger (Surgeon) and Jocelyn Cooper (Neurologist/Neurosurgeon) to provide family veterinarians, clients, and patients in the San Antonio area with “Care You Can Count On.” Mission and its sister hospitals GCVS (Houston, TX) and AVES (Austin, TX) partnered with the Compassion-First Pet Hospitals to accelerate their growth and network with other best-in-class specialty and emergency hospitals. The values that guide patient care and client/family veterinarian interactions at Mission are quality, compassion, communication, education, and friendliness.
A GREAT CITY!
The 7th largest city in the United States and the 2nd largest city in the state of Texas, San Antonio is a city of culture and pride. Nationally known for the River Walk, 15 miles of sidewalks and paths wind through the center of the city, providing access to cultural hot spots and historic sites. Art, beauty and heritage can be found around every corner, creating a playground for individuals of all backgrounds.
