Three Oaks Equine Veterinary Services PLLC is looking for a knowledgeable and progressive equine veterinarian to join our team! We are a 100% equine ambulatory practice committed to providing the best possible veterinary care in a competent compassionate and collaborative manner. The veterinarians at Three Oaks Equine Veterinary Services share a vision of satisfying clients and patients by providing the utmost attention to the individual needs of each patient and their owner through optimal preventive care comprehensive lameness evaluations integrated medicine services (acupuncture herbal and chiropractic care) and 24 hours/7 days per week emergency coverage. Our team strives to maintain client relationships that emphasize open communication and veterinarian accessibility. Every member of our team has made horses a central part of their lives and for us it is more than just a chosen career it’s a passion! Each veterinarian is equipped with a fully stocked vehicle including an ambulatory assistant computerized record keeping printers computed radiography digital ultrasound refrigeration and running hot and cold water. Endoscopy equipment and an extracorporeal shockwave machine are available for use whenever necessary. The office is staffed with an office administrator/front desk receptionist and a dedicated practice manager. We are an extremely well run business with excellent vendor and referral hospital relations. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday and weekend/holiday on-call is shared amongst the veterinarians. Salary is commensurate with experience and commission based. A successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner. Competency in lameness and neurologic evaluations diagnostic imaging motorized dentistry and management of ophthalmic acute abdominal laceration infectious disease and other emergency cases is a must. A general working knowledge of the hunter/jumper dressage field hunting 3-day eventing combined driving reining barrel racing and western pleasure disciplines would be greatly beneficial. The highest consideration will be given to individuals who are intrinsically motivated to provide ethical high quality compassionate care to our patients while continuing to cultivate a positive work environment for our team.
