The Counseling and School Psychology (CSP) program is dedicated to the goal of preparing school psychologists to be forward thinking and to envision the world of education in innovative ways. We are committed to providing Chapman University graduates with a dynamic and intellectually challenging education that targets advocacy, mental health in the schools, and full application of the NASP model of practice. Our program is NASP approved and is accredited by the International School Psychologists Association (ISPA).

Responsibilities: Tenure track faculty are expected to develop and maintain an active research agenda and are evaluated on their research/scholarly activity, teaching, service and advising, particularly as applicable to the School Psychology program.
Actively contribute as an integral member of the CSP faculty in the development, implementation, and assessment of the overall program.
Pursue line(s) of research/publication related to school psychology.
Actively participate in the continuing education of school psychologists, school counselors, and/or clinical counselors through presentations at conferences, school district partnerships, and local professional organizations.
* Achieved doctorate with a major in School Psychology by start of appointment. * Demonstrated potential for effective teaching at the graduate level. * Demonstrated potential for sustainable and significant research and scholarship. * Ability to build beneficial relationships within the university and public education communities. * Ability to teach courses directly related to school psychology. * CA credential (or equivalent) and practice experience in school psychology.
* Experience with development and implementation of innovative school psychology programs. * Ability to design and implement program assessment tools. * Active involvement in national professional organizations. * Ability to teach across CSP program courses (i.e., school psychology, school counseling, clinical counseling). * Professional experience or training in clinical psychology/counseling or school counseling. * CA licensure or eligibility as a Psychologist, LPCC, MFT, LEP, LCSW or BCBA-D.
