Job Description Summary:
The Physical Therapy Program at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to begin August 15, 2017. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, student advising, and university and community service. Qualifications include: doctoral degree completed by August 15, 2017 and three years of clinical experience in physical therapy. Applicants with teaching experience and initiation of a research agenda; or scholarly activity are especially encouraged to apply. The candidate should hold or be eligible for Michigan Physical Therapy licensure. Content expertise of the candidate and the current faculty will determine teaching responsibilities.
The School of Health Sciences serves over 2400 undergraduate, masters, doctoral, and post-professional students through a singular model of advancing community-engaged translational relationships.
