The Department of Bioengineering in the College of Engineering and School of Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the level of assistant or associate professor with an expected start date September 16, 2017.
Exceptional candidates with a passion for biomedical research, teaching and service are encouraged to apply. The minimum qualifications are PhD or MD degrees (or foreign equivalent terminal degree) at the time of hire and evidence of excellence, originality and productivity in research and the potential for excellent teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally recognized research program, to participate in the teaching and service missions of the department, to contribute toward expanding the diversity in STEM education and to follow UW's strong tradition of collaboration and translation across disciplinary boundaries.
