Job Description Summary:
The George Washington University (GW) Graduate School of Education and Human Development seeks an Associate/Full Professor for primary appointment within the Executive Leadership Program (ELP) in the Department of Human and Organizational Learning. This tenure-accruing, academic year position is available beginning as early as August 2017. 1)an earned doctorate in Human and Organizational Learning or a related field such as management, organization science, industrial/organizational psychology, human resource development, or adult learning (minimum of 5 years post-degree);
2)an established record of theoretically-based and practically relevant research in organizational theory, organizational studies, or related fields;
3) an emerging internationally recognized research program in a well-defined research area
4)a demonstrated record of successfully advising doctoral students;
5)demonstrated experience in teaching diverse senior level professionals;
6)evidence of potential for obtaining external research funding as demonstrated by funded research proposals or grant awards; and,
7)evidence of previous leadership or supervisory experience.
