The University of Washington Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics and Hospital Medicine & Seattle Children's Research Institute, The Center for Child Health, Behavior, and Development are accepting applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the physician-scientist track. We are seeking applicants interested in engaging in health services and quality of care research. Applicants must have a doctorate degree (MD or PhD, or foreign equivalent), Board certification in Pediatrics (MDs only), and formal post-graduate training in Health Services Research, Health Policy, Epidemiology, or Related Fields. Applicants should have a proven track record of sustained extramural grant funding and scholarly productivity in their area of research focus. The Center for Child Health, Behavior and Development will provide state-of-the art research infrastructure, access to world-class collaborators, and dedicated space for conducting research. The Division of General Pediatrics and Hospital Medicine will provide clinical and teaching opportunities at Seattle Children's Hospital and in a network of primary care clinics affiliated with the University of Washington Department of Pediatrics and Seattle Children's Hospital.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H1-B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
