Job Summary Overview:
The Department of Painting in the Division of Fine Arts invites applications for a full-time faculty appointment at the rank of assistant professor to teach painting and drawing to commence fall 2017.

Candidates must be artists demonstrating the potential to establish a significant track record of exhibitions and involvement in the field. Candidates must be capable of inspired criticism and dedicated teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Job Qualifications Required:
Candidates are expected to hold a Bachelor's degree and an MFA degree (or equivalent) and have post-graduate college teaching experience. Candidates should have a broad understanding of contemporary art practice and theory as applicable to a variety of disciplines outside of painting.
Job Qualifications Preferred:
Additional teaching experience/professional expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred: installation, new technologies, video, printmaking.
