Duties and Responsibilities:
The Higher Education Leadership & Policy Studies Program within the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies at the University of Houston seeks one (1) Clinical Assistant Professor who will share our program's philosophical belief in the transformational nature of higher education as an institution of social change. Our program aims, through its scholarship, teaching, service and its graduates, to strengthen educational opportunities and outcomes for all students, particularly those individuals historically underserved by our current local, state, national, and international educational and social systems.
We welcome applicants who utilize a full range of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodological approaches. While a broad set of research areas will be considered, preference will be given to those applicants with expertise in student affairs.

Our program offers a Ph.D. degree in Higher Education Leadership & Policy Studies an M.Ed. in Higher Education.
