The Department of Accounting in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions beginning in Fall 2017. The two positions are for the rank of assistant professors, although established candidates with exceptional scholarly achievement may be considered for higher ranks.
Salary is commensurate with salaries at other AACSB-International accredited business schools.
Candidates in all areas of research and teaching interest, especially those with teaching interest in financial accounting and information systems, are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have completed or nearly completed a doctoral degree in Accounting or a closely-related field. Candidates must demonstrate capacity to undertake scholarly research publishable in leading academic journals and to provide quality teaching.
The positions require teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, scholarly research resulting in peer-reviewed publications, and service to the university and profession.
