The Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for a full-time position up to a three-year term as a Lecturer beginning in the 2017-2018 academic year. The successful applicant will teach five one-quarter courses in introductory or higher level undergraduate economics and will advise undergraduate students. Qualifications for appointment include a demonstrated record of excellent teaching in an intermediate level economics course. An economist with experience in econometrics, industrial organization, microeconomics, macroeconomics, regulation, development, and related fields is preferred.
