Clinical Faculty Position in Palliative Medicine. The Palliative Care Program within the Division of Hematology/Oncology (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting two physicians. The individuals will participate in the clinical programs of the palliative care service including ambulatory palliative care, inpatient consultations and care in a newly-opened inpatient palliative care unit. The individuals will also participate in the educational activities of the Division, must be board certified/eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and must be eligible for a State of California medical license.
The Department is interested in candidates who have demonstrated commitment to excellence by providing leadership in teaching, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales.
