Summary of Position: There is currently no vacancy. This ad is intended to create a pool of candidates in case a need arises. The position would be responsible for developing instructional material; providing pedagogical, instructional design, and development consultation related to courses, modules, and whole curriculum activities for traditional, online, and hybrid courses.
Major Responsibilities: Works with assigned faculty in revising existing courses and creating new courses by incorporating technology and designing course materials. Advises faculty in the development of instructional materials, the application of pedagogy in technology based teaching; instructional technology tools and the development and use of online materials in the delivery of instruction.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, in depth experience with instructional technologies, course management systems and distance education.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in instructional design, development, teaching or other similar degree and experience with Blackboard. Experience working in a higher education library environment.
