Position Summary: The successful assistants will be involved with the annotation of brain images from serial electron microscopy. The assistants will use custom computer software to assemble 3D reconstructions of neurons from fragments and then use Photoshop-style computer software to color interiors of neural cross sections in images, and color locations of synapses. A strong work experience in the field is required for this full-time position. Essential Responsibilities include:-Reconstructing 3D models of neurons -Generating data to train our artificial intelligence-Beta testing new lab softwareThe final candidate will be required to complete a background check successfully.
