The Part Time Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Instructor plays a key role in the overall development, implementation, and monitoring of the AEL program's instruction and its respective curricula – General Educational Development (GED), English as a Second Language (ESL), and other grant curricula.
This position requires a bachelor's degree. This position requires at least one year of full time teaching experience or experience as an instructional Aide in an Adult Education program. This position requires a working knowledge of computer systems and software, superior organizational skills, and the ability to make sound decisions. This position requires meeting mutually agreed-upon objectives within a specific timeframe. This position requires the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum and delivery of instruction to meet the needs of multi-learning level adult students all within one given class. A criminal background check is also required.
