Essential Functions: Open rank tenure-track or tenured position from investigators whose research focuses on early education among low-income and minority children, and how that interfaces with stress and resilience at the family and environmental levels.Seeking applications from investigators with clear records of/potential for external funding and whose research includes interventions regarding early childhood education, with implications for policy and program development.Applicants with previous experience in Early Head Start and Head Start settings and with the Quality Rating and improvement System will also be sought.Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute coordinates a consortium of Early Childhood Care Centers and is developing an ambitious registry of parents who are willing to be contacted about research studies. Our hope is for an applicant who will energetically leverage these resources to conduct high-quality, high-impact, externally funded research.
