Program for Adult College Education (PACE) and Arts and Sciences Continuing Education (CE)
The Program for Adult College Education (PACE) and the College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education (CE) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is continuously seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty teaching positions. This position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, using an approved syllabus. THE INTENT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO IDENTIFY A POOL OF ADJUNCT FACULTY WHO ARE QUALIFIED TO DELIVER UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE LEVEL COURSES IN THE ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES. MA or equivalent advanced degree or Ph.D. in a College of Arts and Sciences discipline.
Previous teaching and/or work experience in the requiste academic discipline. Familiarity with electronic communications and various on-line delivery platforms such as "Blackboard". Also, an understanding of and commitment to instructing adult/non-traditional students from diverse backgrounds.
