| The University of California, Riverside has an immediate need for a qualified Maintenance B Lead HVAC. The Maintenance B Lead HVAC oversees and performs repair, maintenance, service, installation, modification, troubleshooting, inspection and monitoring of the operation of commercial/institutional heating, ventilating, fume hoods, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and associated plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and controls systems. Troubleshoots, maintains, modifies and repairs heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment including DX (direct expansion) and hydronic systems, fans and fan motors, heat exchangers, pumps and pump motors, electric and pneumatic controls, and associated safety, overcurrent and other equipment protection devices. Supports the maintenance and operation of other campus and plant equipment, including but not limited to high pressure steam devices and accessories, EMS (Energy Management Control System), steam and other utility distribution, condensate return systems, and scientific equipment such as low-temperature freezers, autoclaves, growth chambers, and centrifuges. Assists in design, identification of systems, estimating hardware and labor costs; and planning of equipment upgrades and remodel projects by Physical Plant. Provides customer service. Performs critical daily functions in supervisor's absence. |
