Essential Functions: Perform data analysis on genomic and proteomic datasets. Apply statistical, clustering, and annotation methods to next-generation sequencing and microarray data using commercial and custom software. Analyze results in the context of gene ontologies and biological pathways. Develop software as required to accomplish assigned tasks.Additional duties include:?Assist in the analysis and management of large datasets.?Interpret results and convey findings to investigators.?Develop custom computational tools.?Assist in the preparation of reports and manuscripts.?Assist laboratory personnel with computational methods.
