BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU) (part-time 21 hrs/wk.), to provide general administrative support for the MITFCU Financial and Retirement Services, SEG development and outreach, and mortgage origination program; and support the entire business development team including the financial advisor, business development officer, and mortgage originator. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments with prospective clients, including quarterly, semiannual and annual client meetings; providing an overview of the MITFCU Financial and Retirement Services program to Credit Union employees and members; participating in branch meetings, morning huddles, and business development events; participating in project meetings involving Marketing and Member Services' business development needs; assisting with seminars including making room arrangements, assembling packets, and confirming attendance; maintaining current and accurate client contact lists; coordinating mailings of newsletters, surveys, and seminars; providing telephone and email coverage to prescreen prospects to collect preliminary data needed for clients to open/revise accounts before meetings; and managing calendar for events, business development team meetings, and individual calendars for members of the business development team.
REQUIRED: a high school diploma; strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills; detail orientation; accurate typing skills; good working knowledge of PCs and familiarity with Microsoft software; and member/customer service experience. College degree and credit union, banking, or other financial industry experience is strongly preferred. Job #13997-4
