Summary Description: Columbia University/Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (CUMC/HICCC), an NCI-Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Director for Hematology-Oncology at the New York Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital Cancer Center in Bronxville, New York. This is a clinical leadership opportunity to collaborate in development of a premier patient-centered, multidisciplinary, disease focused oncology program integrated with the CUMC/HICCC in a new cancer Center with on-site comprehensive services. This academ�ic-community partnership has established oncology support services with ACOS-COC and NAPBC accreditations. Responsibilities include direct patient care with subspecialty focus, oversight and clinical supervision of patients referred to the infusion services of the Center; alignment of the employed and community-based providers in the delivery of the highest level of clinical quality; establishment of a clinical trials infrastructure and implementation of clinical tri�als; integration of cancer genomics into "personalized medicine" for drug selection. Candidate will hold a Columbia University Medical Center faculty appointment and be eligible for excellent benefits; access to rich research resources, superb faculty and quaternary care of CUMC/HICCC.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must be experienced and respected medical oncologists with a track record of achievements in clinical care, research and mentorship. Candidates must also be board certified or board eligible in internal medicine and Medical Oncology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.
