The Economics Department at West Virginia University seeks applications for two tenure-track positions at the Associate/Assistant professor level, with at least one position being at the Assistant Professor level. For one position we seek a candidate with teaching and research interests in macroeconomics or development economics or both or related fields. For the second position, we seek a candidate with teaching and research interests in Public Economics or Urban/Regional Economics or Health Economics or related fields.
WVU is located in Morgantown, WV and is the state's comprehensive Land Grant University with an enrollment of nearly 30,000 students and a Carnegie Classification of R1 - Highest Research Activity. The Department of Economics is part of the AACSB-accredited College of Business and Economics and offers a PhD in the discipline.
