1 year experience as a RN
2 year experience in OB/GYN
2 years experience in outpatient clinic
1 year phone triage experience
1 year phlebotomy experience
Limited Third Trimester OB Ultrasound Certification or intent to obtain Certification within six months of hire.
1 years of nursing experience in a high risk fetal monitoring/antepartum testing unit or 2 years of nursing experience in a high risk labor & delivery unit.
Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or NCC Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring to be acquired by end of orientation
Bi-annual competency validation for Limited Third Trimester OB Ultrasound Certification (within 6 months of hire)
50 reviewed and validated OB Ultrasounds (BPP) by Maternal Fetal Medicine faculty/attending.
Ability to maintain a smooth operation of the entire practice, using problem-solving and decision-making combined with sound clinical judgments.
Assists provider with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and treatments as needed in the clinic.
Ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations. Understands the procedures for medical emergencies, as well as other disaster situations.
