Tenure-track faculty position in Operations Management, beginning in Fall 2017. The candidate must have a proven research record and/or excellent potential for undertaking research. Courses in Operations Management continue to have healthy enrollments. Our MS program in Supply Chain Management has established itself as a successful program. We expect enrollments in this program to continue their upward trend. In 2013, we introduced the undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain Management and will also need to expand the set of our undergraduate offerings. In addition, the OM area is actively involved in the interdisciplinary MS program in Business Analytics. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, service, and active scholarship.
Terminal Degree in the Academic Discipline or in a Related Discipline is required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements: Earned doctoral degree in Operation Management, Industrial Engineering, Decision Sciences, or Operations Research. Teaching or teaching assistant experience. Independent research experience that resulted in working and/or published articles.
Preferred Requirements: Earned doctoral degree in Operation Management. Publication(s) in a leading Operations Management journal.
