The Reporting Analyst position requires experience eliciting and translating requirements; recommending best practices in reporting; and designing, developing, and testing dashboards and reports for a broad range of users. This position will play a key role in transforming the use of data throughout the organization by increasing awareness of and applying the functionality of the new reporting toolset.
Key areas of responsibility: - Effectively engage and lead discussions with stakeholders to understand and document user requirements and apply best practices for delivering information in the most useful format - Analyze and format data in order to produce usable and informative reports, analytics, and dashboards - Apply design and reporting best practices to visually display data to best convey the necessary information. - Understand how to fully leverage the broad functionality of the reporting toolset and data environment for each application or stakeholder group. - Analyze new metrics and reporting needs to identify data needed and perform gap analysis against existing metrics and reports.
**This is a restricted term position projected for the duration of the University's Managerial Reporting Project.**
