This position is in the Program of Occupational Therapy. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Position recruits and tests patients enrolled in studies according to protocols
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruits, interviews, screens, and schedules subjects for study per protocol
Documents case history, charts, and test scores using PC computer systems
Performs phlebotomy and other testing in accordance with study guidelines
Plans and implements study phases, day-to-day in-house and field operations, and trouble shoots case processes
Administers/scores tests, prepares/edits progress reports, and attends meetings, providing case statistical analysis
Participates in training and supervision of Professional Rater I
Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study
Delivers study samples to lab for testing
Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field plus 3 years of relevant experience or a combination of work and education equaling 7 years may substitute for this requirement.
Interactive communication skills with ability to work with physicians and patients, effective interpersonal and organizational skills, working knowledge of phlebotomy skills, and ability to use PC-based computer systems
The hiring range for this position is $16.58 - $20.72 per hour.
