Non-ACGME Women’s Imaging and Abdominal Imaging Fellowship
One opening is available for a new combined 1 year non-ACGME fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center stating July 2017 in Pittsburgh, PA. The trainee will split the year evenly between Women's Imaging and Abdominal Imaging Divisions. The 6 month women's imaging rotation at Magee Women's Hospital includes dedicated training in digital mammography, tomosynthesis, Radioactive Seed Placement, Breast MRI and interventions. Multimodality imaging (CT/MR/PET-CT) of gynecologic oncology and female pelvis MRI is included. The other six months of the year is spent in body imaging which includes state-of-the-art image interpretation of all cross sectional modalities in a tertiary care hospital that focuses on hepatobiliary pathology, bowel diseases, transplant, trauma, oncology and all other abdominal and pelvic diseases. The applicant will also become proficient in performing percutaneous intervention. This position is very competitive and is expected to fill quickly. The applicant should be board certified or eligible and have completed 4 years of training in an ACGME accredited radiology residency program.
