This position is responsible for the direct supervision and performance management of a team of 13 program managers responsible for the management of custom and open enrollment Wharton Executive Education programs. Duties include review of custom programs contracts to understand program logistical needs to determine appropriate support for programs held at Steinberg Conference Center as well as national and international locations. This role requires ongoing communication with program directors to discuss program requirements, and to solicit feedback on performance of team. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to all direct reports to support team performance expectations. Interact regularly with Senior Director, Associate Director Coordination, Associate Director Program Logistics, Aramark Assistant GM, and Executive Education program directors to ensure ongoing flow of communication, to solicit team feedback, and to confirm team support. Participate in client meetings to represent delivery to assist with the sales process for potential new business. Establishing positive relationships and credibility with all members of Executive Education, faculty, and Aramark team is essential in this position. The Associate Director, Program Management will also periodically manage programs directly, and special projects as assigned.
In addition, the Associate Director, Program Management will train new delivery team members to ensure consistent exceptional performance, and outstanding support of all Wharton Executive Education programs. This role will work collaboratively with the Associate Director, Coordination on plans for training and onboarding of new coordinator team members, and will manage all delivery team professional development and team building activities. Duties include the creation and ongoing updates of all delivery team documentation, program templates in Wharton Direct participant websites, knowledge management portal, SOPs and checklists. Associate Director will also manage implementation and training support of all new systems along with developing plans to support any work required of delivery team as a result of new strategic organizational objectives.
